Task: New York is etched and built on the American Dream, although principally unobtainable. The oyster industry in the 1920s shapes and juxtaposes the American Dream as laborers would harvest and the rich would indulge. Today, guests experience the modern-day New York Harbor and its wealth at Abundance.
Reason: Allowing guests to experience the juxtaposition between the American Dream by being on the water all day, and enjoying their rewards in the evening.
Solution: Producing a comfortable and welcoming experience surrounding the history of the New York Harbor within the Hotel Abundance and The Pearl brings guests a take on America’s fantasy.
